It is located 31km from the city of Rethymnon and 42km from the city of Chania. Just 3km away is the organized village of Georgioupolis, with many choices of restaurants, bars, and beaches. Within walking distance you will find the river of Almyros, the beach of Kalyvaki, and the must-visit Lake of Kournas.
